KIDS LEARN TO SWIM

Statistics show that 70% of minority youth can not swim and are 2.6 times more likely to die from a swimming accident. In a family that does not swim they are 8x's more likely to drown. Our goal is to get every participant in our Learning for Life program qualified as a swimmer according to National Standards set by the BSA.  Our Program will now consider swimming and essential Life Skill and will strive to make sure our participants overcome this hurdle and learn to enjoy water activities with confidence.
