The third Annual “Fine Wines and Canines” event to benefit PROPEL (People Reaching Out to Provide Education and Leadership) will be held at the Monument Piazza at Royal Palm Place (Federal & SE MIzner Blvd) on April 18, 5:30-7:30. Participate in PROPEL's Dog Show, open to all dogs and no experience or pedigree necessary. Entry fee for your dog to compete (at event) is $10.00 to benefit PROPEL (standard Entry for Adults $25 in advance and $35 at door). Our expert dog judge, will assist all dogs and masters in the dog show experience -- your dog may win in one of 12 categories and take home a trophy! Jeffrey G. Pepper is President of Palm Beach Dog Club, Past President of Dog Judges Association of America, Judge for Westminster Dog Show and AKC Eukanuba Show as well as a national breeder and author of over four books on dogs.

PROPEL rolls out the
Learning for Life Program in Boca Raton
The Learning for Life program empowers
PROPEL's efforts to prepare youth to successfully handle the
complexities of contemporary society and to enhance their
self-confidence, motivation, and self-esteem. The program focuses on
character development and career education. Learning for Life programs
help youth develop social and life skills, assist in character and
career development, and help youth formulate positive personal values.
It prepares youth to make ethical decisions that will help them achieve
their full potential.
One of the programs associated with the PROPEL LFL program is COPE and
you can see photos of how the kids did on the course.

that 70% of minority youth can not swim and are 2.6 times more likely to
die from a swimming accident. In a family that does not swim they are
8x's more likely to drown. Our goal is to get every participant in our
Learning for Life program qualified as a swimmer according to National
Standards set by the BSA. Our Program will now consider swimming and
essential Life Skill and will strive to make sure our participants
overcome this hurdle and learn to enjoy water activities with
