Originally formed in 1977, SDD Sound & Light has been actively involved in entertainment and commercial audio and lighting throughout the period. From our office in Staines and our industrial unit in Thorpe, SDD provides a complete multi-faceted service from self hire equipment to fully serviced seminars, conferences and concerts. With our own fleet of vehicles, we can provide delivery and collection services using our own staff to ensure security and continuity. The following is a brief description of the focused fields of activities of SDD Sound & Light.

Service – To say the least, our workshop facilities are extensive. At our unit in Thorpe, we hold spares for most brands of equipment both old and new. Our highly experienced bench engineer has attended our entire product line in house manufacturer’s courses.  It is clear to see that we can offer not only great head rechargeable torch products but a high level of professional support as well. Installation – Over the years, we have installed audio and lighting equipment in just about every style of venue from schools to theme parks. All of our work is undertaken by our own qualified electricians and carried out to current electrical regulations. A portfolio is available to view as are references from the many schools, local authorities and theatres that have used our services.
Health & Safety – At SDD there has always been a desire to work not only efficiently but more importantly, safely. From the boardroom to the warehouse, every member of staff receives regular training not only on personal safety issues, but also on how to ensure that those around them are safe through good working practices.
